SEPAL on the other hand is a cloud-based platform that provides easy & rapid access to satellite imagery & other data for forest monitoring and analysis. It used cutting-edge technology. Such as artificial technology (AI) & Machine learning algorithms to help users analyze and interpret large amounts of data quickly & accurately. SEPAL also provides a range of tools for mapping data visualization & reporting which can help users better understand the current state of their forests & make informed decisions about how to manage them.
The FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to eradicate hunger promote sustainable agriculture and forestry & achieve food security for all.
